- TRICOTS, or ECOSIEFabrics with double weft or warp rib effect either down or across the piece. Two colours of weft are used and all-wool yarns. The warp tricots are the most common and the weave is so dense as to resemble a heavy jersey. The cloths are dyed in plain colours and are imitations of knitted tricot fabrics of French make.
